The founders of Oxbridge Strategies met at Christ Church, Oxford, where we studied PPE and were awarded academic scholarships. Throughout our time there, we watched brilliant students from around the world fail to navigate the notoriously complex admissions process. We saw talented applicants rejected because they didn't understand how to answer interview questions. We watched students with exceptional potential not realise the importance of preparing for the admissions tests or submitting generic personal statements. We recognised that the difference between an offer and a rejection comes down to preparation, strategy, and mentorship over inherent ability.
We founded Oxbridge Strategies in 2020 to change that. Our mission was clear: to provide elite Oxbridge admissions mentoring to students who are full of potential, but who may not have the support structures in place to allow them to succeed. No mass-market tutoring. No one-size-fits-all courses. True one-to-one mentorship from people who've all achieved the success that our students are pursuing. Five years later, our results speak for themselves: a 92% offer rate, a 100% interview rate, and students placed across 19 Oxford and Cambridge colleges.
